Join Us in Supporting the Texas Baptist Hunger Offering – Now Through August 24

At Pidcoke Baptist Church, we believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus—and one of the simplest and most impactful ways we can do that right now is by taking part in the Texas Baptist Hunger Offering.

From now until Global Hunger Sunday on August 24, we’re collecting donations to help fight hunger here in Texas and around the world. It’s a small act that can have a big impact.

Here’s how it works:

Grab a piggy bank at Sunday service — available at the front table. Take it home, keep it on the kitchen counter, your desk, or wherever loose change tends to pile up. Every time you empty your pockets or have a few extra bills, drop them in.

It doesn’t have to be much. A few coins a day can go a long way when we give together as a church family. These funds directly support food programs, farming assistance, clean water efforts, and other essential needs through trusted ministry partners.

Bring your filled bank back on Sunday, August 24. That’s Global Hunger Sunday, and we’ll gather up all the donations and send them off to support the offering’s efforts across Texas and beyond.

This is a great way to involve your kids too—let them learn about giving, gratitude, and what it means to care for others in Jesus’ name.
